Biography
Caleb Joseph Eckstein was born on April 21, 2006, the youngest brother of the triplets at Paoli Hospital in Pennsylvania. With two very happy parents and an excited big brother, this brown hair and blue eyed baby boy was to be destined for great things. Caleb and his triplet brothers Alexander and Benjamin already took home the award for being the first set of triplets born at that particular hospital, and it would continue from there.
Caleb along with brothers Alexander and Benjamin took over the role of Spike Lavery on ABC's All My Children in spring 2007. Right away they were involved in one of the show's big summer storylines where Spike is involved in a car crash and it is later discovered he is deaf. The boys saw a lot of airtime in the summer months playing out the storyline alongside talents such as Cameron Mathison (Dancing with the Stars, EXTRA) and the Queen of Daytime herself Susan Lucci. The storyline continues to play out to this day as Spike has undergone surgery for a cochlear implant. In January 2010, Caleb last aired in the role as the show moved to a brand new west coast studio.
In the fall of 2007 Caleb, Alex and Ben shot the role of "Mrs. Pickthall's Grandson" for Dreamworks' "Ghost Town". While all three boys filmed for the role, Alex's scene made the final product. In the spring of 2008, Caleb and his family shot a series of online Diaper Genie commercials. Starring with two other families the boys appeared in four segments including one that focused solely upon the Eckstein family. 2010 has been off to a fantastic start with roles on both Ugly Betty and HBO's new Boardwalk Empire.
While not filming, Caleb enjoys playing with his brothers and cuddling with mommy. Caleb especially loves to play with baseball and soccer balls. As well he also loves to color in his truck books, sing and dance.
